Major international development agency seeks experienced Country Director to lead its DRC operations portfolio worth over $300M.

Position: Country Director, Democratic Republic of Congo

Organization: International Development Agency

Location: Kinshasa, DRC

We are seeking an experienced development professional to lead our country office in the DRC, overseeing a portfolio of programs valued at over $300 million.

The Country Director will:

Lead strategic planning and program implementation

Manage relationships with government, donors, and partners

Oversee a team of 150+ staff

Ensure financial accountability and compliance

Represent the organization at high-level forums

Required qualifications:

Master's degree in development studies, economics, or related field

15+ years of progressive experience in international development

5+ years in senior leadership roles in Africa

Deep understanding of DRC political and economic landscape

Fluency in French and English required

This is a 3-year appointment with possibility of extension.
