The Ministry of Energy has announced a $200 million tender for the construction and operation of solar power facilities in the Katanga mining region.
The project aims to install 150 MW of solar generation capacity across three sites, providing clean energy to mining operations while also extending grid access to approximately 500,000 residents in surrounding communities.
